A month ago I stopped publishing anything in this space. Several events were behind this decision but the main thing was that my hands were full with the publication of Bookspace: Collected Essays on Libraries (Inland Editions’ first book).
Bookspace was published last week!

The book focuses on the current development of library spaces as public institutions through the perspective of architects, writers, librarians, and readers. It addresses the architecture of modern public spaces, and the development of library collections in the age of digital information, in order to discuss the larger social context of libraries as institutions. Bookspace provides an insight into their management and how their functions are changing.

The book is hitting UK bookshops in the coming weeks and first copies are available at Ti Pi Tin. A launch party is also in the works! Meanwhile, there is a preview of eBook sample pages you can check before proceeding to Inland Editions online shop (should you wish to get a copy).
